We have walked through a season marked by Covid that none of us could have imagined or planned for. Covid introduced disruption and isolation into the greater culture at large, and no community, the church included, was exempt from this impact.
As we learn to navigate this new normal, our church is beginning to launch new initiatives to help rebuild and reconnect relationships and serve our community.
You are invited to re-gather with your church family in neighborhood small groups this fall for a 6-week emphasis on the Art of Neighboring. Jesus boiled down what is essential to following God in these two basic commandments: Love God with all that you are and love your neighbor as yourself. These groups will include a brief video teaching and facilitation of discussion that will help us practically process how we can come together to love our neighbors well. Each group member will receive The Art of Neighboring book by Dave Runyon which will provide further encouragement as we look to make meaningful connections in our community.
There are eight groups organizing and we would love for you to be part of the movement. Art of Neighboring Group info is listed in the graphic below. If you would like to jump in with us, please use the host phone or email provided to RSVP for the group you would like to attend. If you have any questions, please contact Marisa Mayes or 850-837-2021.
